Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Overview

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar US state laws, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. This page explains what that means at getwatertech and how to exercise the right.

What this covers

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some of our analytics and advertising tools use cookies in ways that may qualify as "sharing" under California law. You can opt out of that sharing at any time.

How to opt out

You have three options:

1. Use the toggle on our Do Not Sell or Share page at www.getwater.tech/policies/do-not-sell. Switching "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" to on immediately stops ad-related sharing in that browser.
2. Turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, we detect and honor it automatically — you're opted out without doing anything else, on every site that respects it.
3. Email us at contact@getwater.tech from your account email, and we'll process your request within 15 business days.

Your toggle choice is saved as a preference in the browser you set it in, so if you use multiple browsers or devices, set it on each — or use GPC, which travels with you. Opting out suppresses advertising signals only; basic, first-party site analytics still work so the site functions correctly.

You may also designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may ask the agent for proof that you authorized them to act for you.
